I have a pretty heavy bike. 14.1kg. and want to get it a little lighter for some fast touring. I was thinking of a new wheel set and some carbon bits. Carbon bits have ben bought. But new wheels are proving to be a little difficult. Does anyone have any experience of superstar telsa wheels. http://www.superstarcomponents.com/en/p ... et-new.htm

And the other option is http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/fulc ... prod126875

currently have wtb speed tcs 29ers. Which are 2.15kg. They are robust reliable wheels, but slow. any other options/opinions would be gladly recieved.

Thanks

Chris.

I'm just having a wheel set built up with Stans Flow rims ( http://www.merlincycles.com/stans-notub ... 74867.html ), Superstar Switch ultra (the front is an ultralight) hubs and sapim race spokes, current cost is about £200, and weight is reckoned (but not yet confirmed to be) about 1800g.
