Anyone know where you can get a down hat from? I've seen a few people wearing them and all I can come up with so far is Blackrock Gear in the states.
cheers

PHD used to do one but (IME) it was a reet funny fit. Couldn't see them on the site just now.
Blackrock gear ordered from the States:

Prefer this to the PHD.

Outdoor Research do one:

I've not tried one but spec looks reasonable.

Blackrock hat is the one everyone seems to have
I bought a PHD one from off here, might have been off you Cheeky Monkey? PHD one is often available in the sales they have
I actually find that it fits me quite well, but I haven't tried the blackrock one
There's a Primaloft one made by Integral Designs/RAB
I have it, fit is a bit big, but good if you're wearing a smaller hat underneath. Certainly a better option in damp or wet conditions

Yes the PHD one is only in the sales. I was bought one as an Xmas gift the other year. the fit is ok but it has quite a large fleece band around the base which covers my ears and therefore the down is positioned quite high up in the hat. it is pretty warm but (despite being a big PHD fan) I'm not convinced it is any warmer than a fleece hat.
Montane do a 'fireball' hat for 25 RRP which i have tried on and fits very nicely its got 40g per metre primaloft in it and is also very light and pack away to nothing. I'd consider one if i was looking for that sort of thing
