Thinking about a quick blast from Bristol over the Old Severn bridge after work and back before 9. (Might use the train at Severn Beach)
Anyone have any bivi spots or places to avoid?

Tidenham chase isn't too bad.

About 20 minute ride back to the station.

Ask Si (Wildgecko) as he lives in Woodcroft.

A lot of dog walkers in that area
I've bivied over by piercefield park near the river wye, if you look on the map there is a big dogleg. Would mean a good hike from the Wye Valley path though

For an atmospheric bivvy spot try the ruined village of Runston. All that's left standing is the chapel. Couple of miles west of Chepstow on some lovely lanes. Access via footpath from the lane on the northern side.
