Schwalbe rocket Ron questions

Post by Ben98 »

Does anyone use the cheapest version of the above tires? Do they blow up tubeless and what do you think of them? The weight seems too good to be true for the price

I don't have the cheapest, I have 26 inch evo folding and they have very thin sidewalls. They are lovely and light but I would be wary of using them in rocky or flinty places.

Ditto slarge. I'm quite light and have got away using them on rocky stuff and all sorts including BB200. They are a racing tyre though and therefore wear out like one...

Oh and here's a picture of when I slashed one on er flint in Yorkshire....yeah they're deffo a racing tyre! https://flic.kr/p/o6KYXK
