E-Werk Dynamo question

I currently run a reecharge Dynamo kit however find the charge slow especially off road. I recently discovered that it only charges at 500 (something's) as opposed to the 800 (somethings) of the E-Werk.
My technical understanding of all things Dynamo is very basic.
I 'assume' that the extra 300 (somethings) will make a significant difference over the reecharge?
Running a Revo light/hub on a 29er trying to charge a standalone battery or phone or GPS or battery into one of the 2 to provide a constant charge.
Cheers

Are you finding your battery pack slow to charge or the gps/phone you are charging?

Tends to be both. I've tried charging the battery alone and then the phone through the battery and the phone direct.
Ewerk claims as fast as a mains charger at 15kmph. Mine is way slower.
I didn't know if using on a 29er would slow things or if it was just lack of power from the reecharge
The ewerk does appear to kick out more juice on paper.

The charge the battery gives out won't be affected by the dynamo input will it? What input charge rate/output is your battery? If it's only 500mAh then its the same as the Reecharge anyway.

No, but I thought part of his problem wasn't getting the battery charged in the first place.

Yes, battery charging slow as well. I'll take the plunge and buy the ewerk and keep my fingers crossed.
