Cycling in Andalusia / TransAndalus

In May next year, I'm planning a route through Andalusia from Malaga to either Murcia or Alicante, following around 20% of the TransAndalus mountian bike route.

I understand that the TransAndalus route isn't waymarked (a problem for navigationally inept me, but I'm sure I'll cope!) so I'm wondering if anyone in the BB forum has rode this route before or knows somebody that has. I'm mainly looking for information, advice, tips, etc for the sections in the Malaga, Granada, and Almeria provinces.
I've wrote a quick blog post of my basic route outline: http://www.outdoorfirmo.com/adventure/c ... andalusia/
(As a side-note, what online resources are there that would help me map out an off-road route?)

I'm sure you've probably seen Chris' (uninspired ramblings) blog, and I know he's en route to that neck of the woods now, so I'm looking forward to hearing his report too.

Muchas Gracias

Just replying as I'm very interested in this too. I've been considering an early 2015 jaunt (March maybe)

GPX files etc are here http://www.transandalus.org/
