Here'a a pic of On Ones Lurcher to give you an idea. I think it looks nice but I've heard others describe it with such words as 'gopping'.

I'm liking it but I think Zoe might notice that change quite quickly!

The thing that'd put me off is the need for new parts. I'd have to buy, new cranks + BB (Lurcher is BB30), new forks (lurcher is tapered steerer) and a new direct mount front mech' ... that lot would certainly stop it from being a simple frame swap.

I prefer the look of the Planet X Dirty Harry ande here but I've got a new road bike to build and abuse my legs with.

You can fit normal forks to tapered headtubes

There's quite a bit of taper on the head of that first lurcher, or is it just the way the photo is taken?

Of the two, which do you reckon'd be best through tight singletrack?

Friend bought a prototype Race29 of on-one. He has been hammering it all last year, one thing that strikes you is the massive tyre clearance. Its pretty similar to the Lurcher apart from the head down setup
