I've posted this elsewhere, but here it is again.
12mm air pipe, as used on trucks, plus a couple of
tee connectors.
It's a bit basic, but it stops the hoses kinking and holds the bag away from the head tube.
Edit to add;
If anyone wants to make one of these, I can send you some pipe for the cost of postage. I think we've got red, black, orange, yellow and green.
You'll need to supply your own tee connectors though.

It's an
Alpkit Roo Pouch
I don't think it's particularly good.
It keeps the straps on the dry bag by stopping them spreading and slipping off the ends, but it puts the buckles right on the handlebars and it is flat.
I think having simple loops that the existing straps thread through and a more three dimensional shape would be better.

Lots more pictures and a short video at

The integral straps are an unnecessary complication in my opinion.
If I was making something similar, I'd just put a webbing loop at each corner and thread the straps through, a bit like fitting a belt pouch to two belts at once.

Here's a link to my effort:

I'm really pleased with it. It's rock solid and the bungees and straps mean you can carry an extra bundle, like a tarp and poles, on top of the main roll, as well as stuffing a map or waterproof in there where you can get at it easily when riding.

Nice! I had a similar idea using poly pipe heated and bent into shape. also added a cross member to attach my light too. its very solid, apart from the bungee! Whole thing cost about a fiver plus the 20ltr bag.
