New member here although a longtime lurker. I've not done any bikepacking as of yet. I'm looking to put some equipment together over the winter. Any tips or recommendations of what I should require to get me up and running would be greatly appreciated. Also are there any regular group rides ? I'm in South wales

If you're in S Wales you'll be wanting the Welsh Winter Bivvy on Dec 6th/7th. Good chance to meet people, see lots of kit, talk bollox and generally enjoy yourself.
