Will be very interested to see how you get on with that, looks to be a much cheaper alternative to a JetBoil.

Yippeeee, they've sold out. That makes it an easy decision in the "do I or don't I"

I was reading some blokes review of it against his MSR with a standard pot on STW . Upshot was it took longer to boil and used more gas.

It's the internet, it might not be accurate or even be true :|

As I said over there ====>

It's a bit of a concern that the design doesn't enable the storage of a standard 220/240g cartridge.

Interesting. I ordered a BruPot which arrived today.

My theory is to be able to use it flexibly with both my stoves.

I have an Optimus Vega as my main cooking stove. I combine it with a MSR MicroRocket for comfort camping. On lightweight rides I'll just take the MicroRocket.

I figured that the heat exchanger on the bottom of the BruPot might help reduce the hot spot issue with the MicroRocket and spread the heat a bit more evenly.

We shall see.
