At the risk of wanting the moon on a stick, I like the other one having a lip to hold it in.* Your £4 example does rather illustrate my grumble about paying £18 though!
* Can I pre-empt any pics of hammers, mallets, etc adding a lip onto the aforementioned normal flask.

It's double skinned like any flask, but if it doesn't fit in the cage I probably won't be taking it along.

This 350ml one is 75mm diameter, so just right for a bottle cage.

You don't need the groove round the top if you use a side loading cage with the top bit flattened out and a velcro strap for extra security.

My small flask goes in a Monki cage without any issues - not lost it yet. Easy to get out/back on with gloves in winter.

I just took my bike in to Go Outdoors and can confirm that both the Lifeventures flask above and the Hi Gear 500ml flask will fit in a Specialized Rib Cage.

Use a Topeak Java Cage and you'll have a much wider choice of flasks
