Waterproofing an old groundsheet?

Possible?
an old tent with a groundsheet that absorbs water overnight when pitched on wet ground, whats the bast way to re-proof the groundsheet?
Fabsil?
Anything else?

had limited joy with fabsil before but i put that down to the wearing of the fabric i was trying to proof - just too past it! Is a footprint out of the question?

Is the tent worth getting the groundsheet replaced?

Its not actually that old, or well used I guess. Worth a try with fabsil for a tenner.

I'll try the fabsil first to see what happens though.
