Joystick Mk 7 question

Hi all,
Managed to pick up a Joystick Mk 7 over the last few days, I plan to pair it with a Hope Vision 1 on the bars with this up top to compliment it.
I've been looking through the info on the OMS modes and I understand that if you want longer run time, you sacrifice the output power. I have seen tables for their older lights [like this link to an older diablo
http://www.slowtwitch.com/Products/Ligh ... _3458.html] that give the lumens for each mode.
Has anyone seen one for the Mk7 Joystick, not essential, just out of interest really, as I figure the only way to find the mode you like is to get out and use it!
Thanks
Drew

On last years BB200 I ran one in 'Mode 6' ... lasted through the night with a single cell piggyback battery.

That sounds good, I was going to give mode 3 a whirl, its similar to mode 6 but with a low setting too.
How useful would the low setting be in actual use, I'm thinking that it wouldn't be enough to ride by and so would only be good if stopped for looking through bags....which I try to avoid as much as possible!...try to....

I rode the majority of the night on low ... there were times when I could have done with a bit more but it was okay. Obviously it gets tricky if someone else throws the switch on 2000 lumens behind you

While the topic of the 'Modes' is up, would anyone care to explain to me how you rotate through them? I get how to flick between low, medium, and high and into 'commuter' mode, but don't see how you get between programs 1-8 listed on the back of the light?

Here you go bud:

Just press and hold the button, it flashes 3 red, 3 green then 2 red in order of the modes

Sounded a good plan, and managed to get a triple cell cheap so should have plenty of run time for what I need
Cheers

Spot on — thanks for that. I don't think my brain had quite made sense of the way the manual phrased it in the past. Sorry for the slight thread hijack.
