tarp poles.

I've got the small alpkit tarp and one 70cm pole off stu I'm going to buy a second would there be any benefit for having a 110cm as second pole or go other 70cm - stupid question

Not a stupid question at all. Get a 110, means you can sit under one end if it rains and have room to get in and out of your sleeping bag.

Hi Jay, this is the setup i use, there is a download on the Alpkit site, it shows using the small tarp with your bike but i substituted for a set of 70&110 poles of Stu... Perfect!

You could use a second 70cm pole but it will limit what you can do. Adding a 110cm pole will give you loads of options but still allow you a very low pitch if required.

Come in around .5g per cm, so a 110cm pole's something like 55g.
