new build time

Post by burty »

had a few parts lying around , missed riding my single speed so I thought id build a new one ,
first time bb7 brakes but my foot hit the back one and kept turning the dial making the pads drag,
swapped them for hope m4s from a spare bike up the loft ,
spent 140 on three different sets of tyres until a got hold of some that I liked the look of, that's me just being fussy,
but the other half has now got spare set for hers ,
finally finished , now I can put it in the shed so I don't get it dirty and take out the krampus

How tall are you?

I don't get the one size fits all thing.

I hope it's great but something about that build just makes me think "basket"

I think it looks great - I'm dithering about buying one.

Other than not being as good as a Krampus, does it ride well?

On the size thing, what's the pedal-saddle measurement?

I have only rode it for 14miles at Cannock chase trails at the moment just to test it ,
couldn't go to fast as the brakes have not being bled for 8 years and were crap,
but I did notice that you could throw the rear end around well, totally different ride to the krampus that I ride .
then at the end of the ride I dropped it off at swinnertons up at the chase to sort the brakes out, as I always seem ball them up.
the staff at the shop seemed to like how it rode, a proper test when I get it back,
