Pointless question time. Just packing my stuff to hopefully get away over night tomorrow for my first bivi of the year and wondered what i should do with my down bag! It probably doesn't matter but thought id ask in case there was something in particular i needed to do with it!

Always stuff sleeping bags.

It does not matter how its packed.
Its just important not to leave it packed down for long periods so the down doesnt clup together.

I vote stuff.

Always stuff my sleeping bags. Don't know if its true but a camp leader I had when I was a kid said rolling the bag compacted the end at the centre more and over time this would lead to this part lofting less. I doubt I could get my bags into their stuff sacks rolled up anyway.

Stuffing it makes it easier to both pack and unpack it, as you just stuff it into a dry bag bit by bit instead of having to compress it before you put it in the bag.

Stuff.
