Does anyone not have a mountain bike?

Just wondering whether there's anyone who doesn't actually have what would be considered a mountain bike? I'm considering a very big, new year bike cull and can't decide what should go and what should stay ... there's 3 on the list that will certainly go and 2 that might but that still leaves a few more as yet undecided, these are the ones that are less 'mountain bikey' although still capable enough to go off road.

Sorry, now I've read it again it doesn't really make sense :D
I suppose, I'm asking ... does anyone use a non mountain bike for bikepacking duties, CX, Hybrid, shopper, etc ?

No, I think I must be the worst person I know for building and hoarding ... at present, the following are in the workshop and ready to ride.
Inbred 29er
Inbred 26"
Dialled PA
Dialled Alpine
Banshee Scratch
NS Bitch
Haro Monster X
Genesis io SS
Carver 69er
Felt Half Breed SS CX
Rock Lobster 853
Inbred 456 (Dee's)
Sanderson Soloist (Dee's)
Hire bikes x4
There's another 2 bikes awaiting building plus various frames, forks, wheels, etc.

sounds like you need a bigger shed rather than a cull.
If you really need a cull I'd start with anything with small wheels though...
