Sleeping bag advice ... again!!!!

The Comptroller General didn't shriek when I suggested we needed two more decent (ish) sleeping bags now that both kids are coming along on cycle tours, camping trips and occasional bivvy nights. So what's out there for around £100 - down preferred, 2-3 season, other than the Vango Venom 300/400? Doesn't have to be megalight but around 1kg would be nice.

Why down?
The synthetic standard answer should be the Mountain Hardwear Lamina 35 - a great bag at a kilo.

Thanks - water repellent shell as well. I like down - more warmth for same or less weight and it packs smaller. That Lamina 35 looks great though.

Another Lamina fan here - I have a 35 and a 0. It's nice not to have to take so much care of them - and that they are easier to clean when necessary.
