morning all. well, time to replace some bike gear that's past it's use by date... I'm looking for some new padded cycling 'under' shorts and gloves (prob all year round types), any recommendations?

For under shorts I've gone to bib shorts and I doubt I'll be going back to normal under shorts. Funkier are quite good vfm and comfortable.

I've got a pair of these from On-One: http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/CLOOPEFITSH ... s-with-pad

I've got the unpadded version. You do sometimes get that 'knickers up yer bum' feeling which I imagine you wouldn't with the padded variety.

For year round use my on-one windproof fleece gloves are hard to beat. Good down to a couple of degrees and not too warm in the rare sunshine we get. The price fluctuates between 6-10 quid a pair or thereabouts.

Oh yeah gloves ... I bought some On-One soft shell things and they're very good (maybe the same as Nigel?) However, white may have been an oversight on my behalf

White, how enduro

Black is back, all in we're gonna win!

Does all year round mean warm enough for the winter, or cool enough for the summer? I'm pretty sure you can't have both!
