External USB charger comparisons

Post by Richpips »

I came across this in my twitter feed, a comparison of various external USB chargers. Price to weight, and price to power etc

Interesting link....any particular makes or models that folk have used or might reccommend, I seem to recall the Astro name cropping up somewhere?

Anker Astro models of varying capacities seemed popular. I've got some other Anker kit that's well made. I have a New Trent pack that's good but it does have a proprietary port to charge it and that's not really ideal.

2200mah solar chargers in Lidl this Thursday!

Yeah, I saw the Lidl offers...if you can get your hands on them...stuff flies out of the stores!

Think I've seen a chunky Trent one recently, looks rugged but don't like the idea of weird chargers!
