Solstice ... that old chestnut again.

Sadly, it only feels like a few weeks ago since I asked what people had planned for the Winter solstice but it's actually over 5 months ago ... so, do you have anything interesting (or boring and dull) planned for mid-summer?

I'll be home alone with the wildlife so won't have the chance to do much

I once visited all the windfarms in Montgomeryshire in a day, but with a few tweaks, would make a nice two-day trip. What date is solstice anyway?

Edinburgh to Aberdeen for me on the Sustrans route 1 with my mate. Didn't plan it as a Solstice ride but they're the dates that worked with home and work.

have always wanted to ride all the daylight hours of the summer solstice, and equally all the dark hours of the winter solstice

maybe this year I'll do it :-)

The Druids arranged it, they were well miffed after being laughed at for building Stonehenge which at the time was considered a folly.

I prefer it the other way around!

Did an all-nighter last summer solstice but we were let down badly by the weather. Had we done it just 24 hours later it would have been a cracker. :|

I really like the sound of this!

Let's see what family/work/other commitments can keep me from doing it.....
