"Bad luck comes in threes" - anyone else

Yesterday:

1 - Tried to fit new "tubeless ready" tyre just before a ride. Didn't have time, inclination or experience to set it up properly tubeless so was just intending to use a tube that night. Defeated my thumbs and everytime I got it on I pinched the tube so gave up after two were buggered and re-fitted the old tyre.

2 - The ride - going well but not far from home. Due to wasted time with tyre only had an hour before picking up one of the kids. Took a "shortcut" that I'd not used for a while. Been some felling by Yorkshire Water and the "path" looked a bit muddy, tentative start discovers it's firm so pick up the pace. It was only firm at the edge of the area, front wheel buries itself to the axle, over the bars and full length front body plant. I stuch my hands out but the mud's gorgeously soft and organic (did I mentioned this is near Esholt sewage works!) so there's no real harm but I'm pressed well into it up to my elbows and the bike's trapped my legs with the front wheel still wedged deep so I can't get up. Escape involves more rolling around, getting more covered and then wading out as my feet push through nearly up to my knees. No real harm but smell a bit funky, bike is caked and the shifters / brakes / lights only work after dunking in a stream.

3 - Get home, clean up and open the day's to find a £60 penalty notice for driving in a bus lane. Arse!

I'm not superstitious but does anyone else find this sort of stuff always seems to be in threes

Fell off within inches of the door into work, luckily no-one saw me but I've bent the rear mech & hanger. Could have been chauffeur driven in today and it would have cost less. Just waiting for the next two calamities then.....

Sounds like Type 3 fun, here's mine
Fell off in works car park in form of the offices window, trying to adjust rear light whilst riding

First thing I do after picking myself off the floor was to check who saw me?
Only later did i check my front teeth and bike out for damage
