Nice story, nice photos (the weather always helps eh?). I think you camped in
exactly the same spot I did two years ago and I recall waking up and watching the line of sunlight gradually descending the hill opposite until it hit the tent and it was time for breakfast

Looks lovely - am I right in thinking some of that is on the Cairngorms Loop?
Hope to get some nice weather up there next weekend...

The new track in the glen is a vast improvement over the muddy heathery mess of old!

Yup, the tromie, feshie, geldie bits all are.

Any questions, just ask. You'll cover ground pretty quickly in Feshie and Tromie. The heathery, contoury singletrack in Feshie - just after Geldie, can be bypassed on the landy track if you're racing.
The feshie landslips are the only thing that will slow you down slightly there.

I might take another trip up with some tools, though I suspect that could be an annual task!!

They're holding up pretty well TBH, in truth I was over them quickly, I did dismount though.
