So, if you could have any production bike for bikepacking
What would you choose?
I think my choice would be a rigid single speed pivot les cause its vaguely exciting :)

I don't think a production bike could be a dream bike.

Just took delivery of my dream bike packing bike this time last week.

Travers Angus 29er+ with a Rohloff hub and Jones bars, 120 miles in and I'm very happy.

Something Titanium or steel and something with 700/29er wheel size so I can swap the tyres over with road/mountain tyres. Wouldn't mind Brian Rourke building the frame either
Some Jones bars wouldn't go a miss either!

My Ti Burls frame should be here this week. Continuous cable routing, three bottle cage mounts and my choice of geometry (e.g. slightly higher BB than standard) but otherwise fairly standard. I already have a Jones Loop bar and an SP Dynamo hub to fit to it.
