Not much to go on here. View from under some Sitka spruce close to waters edge (though not necessarily from within a forest) across narrow body of water, approx 150m, to agricultural land. Small inlet visible to right, containing trees. Variation in height of land opposite probably less than 50m. SN 890890, looking NNE?

That is actually surprisingly close ... even better when you consider the trees where the shot is taken don't appear on the map.

Sadly not going to make it this time. Will be somewhere in the Welshness, but it'll be somewhere further north, where there's waterfalls for me to fall off. Have fun though!

So who's coming now? The two that were coming with me can't make it but I still plan on being there - my Rab Ladakh winter bag has to get used at least once a year or I think about selling it!

On the street opposite the petrol station (between the 2 roundabouts) will be as good as anywhere and free.

Anyone coming would be well advised to bring some spare clothes to change into on returning ... I've found a very long descent this afternoon and I can't decide if it's a river pretending to be a track or a track pretending to be a river I thought the forecast for weekend looked quite good - considering.
