I quite like that.
Might dig out some WTB 2.55 Weirwolf LTs from the workshop and build a pretend 26+

Apologies to anyone on ukfatbikes while I repeat myself but isn't this just an Element 29er with smaller rims & fatter tyres? Based on my mates short lived element bushings & the difficulty Evans had replacing them I wouldn't be setting off from Banff hoping to reach Antelope Wells on one.

Dunno, CGAS about the bike : ) I just want a 650B+ front wheel for my Jones. I don't have a big enough budget for tooling at Evans that would cover new tyres so I mentioned 650+ a few times in places / to people where I hoped the idea would stick, and now it has*
*Ha. In reality, it was obvious it would happen / be tried, just a matter of time. 2 1/2 years it seems.

Nevermind YOUR bike, are you firing up the CAD (or scribbling on a fag packet) to design a Ramin 650b+

Wouldn't those wheels just squeeze into a regular 29er?

Assuming the widest point is around 15mm closer to the axle than it would be with a 29" tyre, if there's enough clearance at the stays, yes. But you'd need more chainstay clearance than the current short-stay demands generally offer - 70-75mm at the widest point is good clearance, many bikes are less than 70mm and struggle with anything over 2.2".

Not so simple then.

I like.
At first I was sceptical about fat bikes, 29+ and even 29ers at one point.
I ve tried tried a few things now and basically pulled the stick out of my arse and I'm fairly open to all of them now I think
More options = good
I still think if salsa can fit fat tyres in a 100mm travel bike, 29ers can go 4"
