MSR Autoflow filter, Primus stove, Osprey Talon 8

More in the clear-out...

MSR Autoflow Gravity Filter, unused

I like the idea of this - simply scoop the water up, hang from a tree / fence / tent and gravity does the rest. But I've realised its more useful for a small group of people rather than one person on a solo trip where something like a Steripen or Sawyer might be more efficient. The Autoflow uses gravity to filter up to 1.75 Litres a minute and has a 4 litre reservoir. Has no moving parts making it especially appealing for long trips. Has a coarse filter in the reservoir and then a 0.2 micron filter cartridge on the hose which makes it effective against protozoa, bacteria and particulates, but not viruses or chemicals/toxins. End of hose connects to many standard sized bottles.

Never used, boxed with instructions. Weighs 392 grams.

RRP is £80. Will sell for £60 including postage to the UK.

Primus Express Spider remote gas stove

Remote gas canister stove with pre-heat tube. Strong and stable with wider burner. Weighs 198 grams. I really like this stove but will be primarily using meths this year so will just take smaller canister-top stove as a back up, and sell this. Has been used on a handful of trips. Appears to be in perfect condition with no damage, although the seam at the top of the pouch is splitting / fraying slightly (can be seen at the top of the third photo).

RRP is £45. Will sell for £30 including postage to the UK.

Osprey Talon 8 Lumbar Pack (NOT a bum bag! ;-) )

Bought this to try not wearing a rucksack. It worked pretty well and can take a decent amount of gear. I used the water bottle holsters to carry drybags as water was on the bike so its quite flexible. Its actually a bit less comfortable walking than when leaning forward on the bike, when I virtually forgot I was wearing it. I considered taking this away with me this year but want something I can also wear around towns without feeling like I'm an outdoor geak, so will take a packable rucksack instead - hence selling this.

Use for one 2-day bike trip.

RRP is £45. Will sell for £35 including postage to the UK.
