PHD Spring sale

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Might interest someone ... I've not put this in bargain alert as I'm not sure there really are any, although I do like the Minum 300 with central zip but at £230 I won't be having one.

Nothing for me either, but I did think that the full on winter bag rated to -35 degrees was "good value" at £444.

Nice gear for sure. I'm intrigued by the water resistant minim, but its too heavy

A couple of new bits added to the Phd Sale inc' a 120g sleeping bag cover (although I'd think of it as a bivvy bag) for £67

I have one of their sleeping bag covers. Needs a ground cloth or to be used on top of a mat.

Fits their sleeping bags fantastically well (unsurprisingly enough!) though and good to use in a damp environment as beads very well.

I called them about the cover.

They said it would cope with dew and mist etc, perhaps a light shower.

They also said, if you lie on already wet ground, it will wet out.
