Loose Disc Bolts

Post by Ray Young »

Whilst fettling my bike today I noticed that with the front brake on the wheel would move back/forward a bit, turned out to be loose disc bolts. I got the disc as a clearance item from CRC and I think the thread lock compound may have dried out but I didn't notice when I was installing it. Good job i've noticed now.

I noticed this on my Fargo the other day. However it turned out to be a knackered headset. :(

Commuting is killing my Fargo! :|

Commuting is far harsher on the bike than you give it credit for (well from my experience)

I agree. After any recreational ride I'd clean my bike but after returning from work it ain't gonna happen until the weekend.
