Saw this and thought it was a good idea, your cycling bucket list:-

So here goes:-
1, Ride from Southampton to Monaco touring etc Fancy riding around the F1 track.
2, Do a 7 day trip without any planning, just get up and see where you end up.
3, Do some more cyclocross racing
4, Help daughter become bike racing champ (working on this)
5, Cycle the nurburgring

You get the idea... So whats yours??

Ps may steal some of your ideas :-bd

1) rovaniemi 150
2) some form of coast to coast, USA would be good
3) Tour of Iceland
4) Tour of Norway
5) A few more TdF cols under my belt wouldn't go a miss
6) Some riding in Scotland would be nice

C2C with the wife, sticking to the Sustrans route, which will also involve B&Bs.
Off-road C2C without the wife, camping as I go.
The Great Divide. Would love to do it in one hit, but more likely to be spread over a few years.
And as of discovering it yesterday, the Trans Andalus. As above, would be vaguely exciting to do in one trip, but unlikely.

nothing I've got my heart set on, is that bad.
just the desire to break free more often.
But if anyone needs a partner in future trips to make it viable, drop me a p.m.

Mine are pretty low key / humble due to my health.

So staying fit enough to ride would be number 1. (My dad still rides his MTB for day trips off road along tow paths etc at 75 so that would be a nice goal)

2) help my son pass the mtbing bit of his GCSE.

3) get my wife and daughter to be more confident on 2 wheels.

4) if 'dreaming' or thinking bigger, offroad tour in Iceland. Something I've liked the idea of since an MBUK article in the late 80s iirc.

I've also got some unfinished business with the Pyrenees that needs sorting at some point.

Highland Trail (actually finishing it this year)
Tour Divide
Idaho Hot Springs Mountain Bike Route

Plus a few that are on the road:

John O'Groats to Edinburgh in a weekend. Half day on Friday, train up, then start riding from Wick
Dunwich Dynamo (hopefully this year)
A double century (in old money)
