I'm not really a fan of social networking but a few months ago I crumbled and got a twitter account ... I really do have to draw the line at FB though. I can understand why companies, clubs, etc have a FB page but why on earth any individual needs / wants one ... I've no idea :?

Remember when you were a kid and someone said "if you haven't got anything good to say, don't say anything"? Well that golden rule should apply to all social networking sites. ;)

EDIT: Oh yeah .... @bearbonesnorm

Don't say a lot these days....social media is no longer exclusive to the technology geeks and is overrun by people taking it far too serious and advertising etc. etc. It's losing the very appeal that made it interesting back when I started using it. :|

I don't post much on Twitter but I do like looking at what people have got to say, sometimes
interesting sometimes not.
The local weather and travel are handy, quite like the Fascinating Pictures, breaking news,
how many goals West Ham are losing by :(
Also like the inspirational quotes which can help on those training days when you dont want to
step outsise the door!
So I do sort of like Twitter but I could live without it ;)

Not on Twitter.

Crumbled to FB as the club (SingletrAction) was doing a lot of stuff and using it quite a bit. It's a good tool if used well for clubs and organising things. Does my head in using it on anything other than a PC though.

I know what you mean about the content and need to post stuff Stu. There's just so much sh!t. Some people are quite funny and some gems of info / amusement come through it but conversely there's a lot of people trying too hard and far too many flippin kitten related bobbins.

Hey ho 8-)

I'm scotroutes on Twitter. I'm more of a Facebook person though. I find the message length in Twitter a bit hut and miss.

I spend a lot of time on Twitter (@EoghanLondon), but then a lot of my day job involves Twitter and other social media. My tweeting is a bit schizophrenic though - lots of pretty dry work-related stuff, then I'll suddenly shoot off on a complete tangent about the rugby or politics or some other rubbish.

I have a pretty carefully curated list of people I follow covering a very wide range of topics that interest me and like others, spend more time reading than tweeting.

Mainly use twitter as a general interests feed.
Use facebook to be nosy and stay in touch with odd friends.
