Does anyone know where I can buy really cheap 29x2.4" inner tubes?

Try On-one ... the first batch I had were a bit hit and miss but they've been fine since.

Yep. Ive even used skinny road tubes in my 29er when I didn't have any spares to carry. Must have stretched quite thin in the 2.3 tyre but worked fine. Come to think of it, it might still be in there ….

Yes ... I've run cx tubes before now when I've been stuck.

For reference, my 4" Husker Dü's only have 2.7" tubes in them. Seem to stretch ok.
