Excellent stuff hope you enjoy.

Although I'd recommend whiskey (or a large night bottle) over beer at this time if year. It's a shame to have to get out of a warm bag to have a piss ;-)

Cheers !!

Enjoy! Take a boat :D
I've already failed the bivvy a month challenge. Just seems pointless in the rain.

Left last last night around 9 o'clock and headed to the woods with a torch and bivvi, found a sandstone ledge which looked good, we made a fire with teabags and pine cones, the solid fuel tablets failed on us so teabags had to do. Finally we got it going and it went like crazy when it was ready to cook anything on i was already in the bivvi. Went to sleep and was woken by a strange noise (not dad). Had a good sleep, Dad got wet, all was well  . woke up ,upside down and a bit nippy around the edges, got dressed, packed up and went home to a warm house.

Just a couple of pics to show of our first Bivvi of the year.
My WRT crew did not want to Bivvi out in January(wimps) so my son said he would come and all went well.
I was wondering as I was out on Jan 31 and Feb 1 it would count as 2 Bivvi's

I admire the cheekiness but one night out, one bivi ;)

Chapeau for getting out last night. Conditions were less than ideal and I was glad to be warm and dry at home.

Look forward to hearing about the next 11 :D

I'm glad there's a second picture ... the first one left me wondering about the youth of today as I hadn't realised 'that' was a hat!

It is a hat ... isn't it?

Looks like a cracking mullet to me. Good work young man.

Despite Stu's encouragement, I missed January but am off for a few weeks so if anyone fancies some SE rides (not weekends) let me know.
