Route tips and links thread, general / by area

In the spirit of the bargains and other shared-info threads and inspired by some useful info found on other forums or by email, how about a 'post your route info sources' thread? It'd be good to bring it all onto this site.
Not so much routes as GPX files etc, more of those great website links you stumble upon that lead to a route plan and a trip, or the 'best of' from other more detailed trip advice threads. If we post them with a country and area title we can search easily and note the ones that may be next years big ride, PM the poster for more info etc?

I'll start with a separate post as I got a few from a helpful chap via STW and a few evenings planning our GR5-based 2012 ride.

Why not get everybody to post their local riding area, making a list for anybody else to peruse then they can ask the "local" for the best routes in the vicinity.

That would work too - separate thread or a poll and post?

I meant more of the overseas routes for holiday plans at the research stage, but could work for anything.

Can route between places using Sustrans routes and has an export GPX feature. Really handy if you want to just get somewhere by bike.

As posted elsewhere. Wikiloc, wikiloc,wikiloc it's a simply brilliant website with thousands of routes all over the world. If you filter it correctly you can tailor a route to the activity you want, the length you want, the difficulty, the area and there are still dozens of routes to look at. My experience is mainly Northern Spain, Catalunya and Valencia and I've never been let down by the quality of the info. The routes are overlaid on Google Earth to it pays to download that, they have height profiles included. Zoom in on the area you are interested in on the map then click on the routes, it brings up a list of the routes in the zoomed area and, click on the one you want then the GPX box, it downloads it as a GPX file for transfer to your unit.

Lhasa to Kathmandu looks like a fantastic ride, the run into Kathmandu is 100 miles downhill :)

Did the Leh to Manali route many years ago, recommended. Sounds like it's mostly Tarmac now, but there are so many shortcuts for fun too.
Final drop to Manali was one of the best rides ever, so good we hired a Taxi to take us back up the next day to do it again.

Anyone got any links to interesting areas in Belguim, even if just touristy. Decided it's just to much mess off road here at the moment, so have just grabbed a cheap train and ferry ticket and going exploring for a week bikepacking.
