Can you get an adaptor to make a 92mm press fit bottom bracket shell into a British standard threaded to use HT2 Bottom brackets.
Something like this one for BB30: http://www.fullspeedahead.com/products/ ... APTER-73MM
Does this even exist?

This lets you use other cranks, but may not be quite what you're looking for:

The only thing I can see is this 'T86' but it's not actually a converter but allows you to run HTII cranks in BB90 BB.

Re: 92mm pressfit to BS threaded
The thing that confuses me about all this is that I already run standard HT2 cranks. I'm using this bottom bracket.

EDIT: OK so the lurcher is bb92 not bb90...

Re: 92mm pressfit to BS threaded
Why? The centre of bb90/bb92 is same size as ht2.. So you can use the same cranks.
Basically one has thread and one doesn't... Also ht2 is external and bb92 is internal, so you'd have to mod your frame I would have thought to make it geometrically possible.

Re: 92mm pressfit to BS threaded
conversion isnt possible I dont think, as zippy says. the frame for the bb92 is too wide.
The same cranks work though, also as Zippy says.
there are a few good options for BB's for BB92 et al now including Hope (and chris king)

Not cheap though

Re: 92mm pressfit to BS threaded
My confusion was why I might need a converter to use cranks that I already use without a converter. :D
I suspected that it might not be possible and didn't exist but stumbling across the bb30 one gave me some false hope.
Thanks for the input all.

Re: 92mm pressfit to BS threaded
Keep a close eye on that Token BB. A friend has a Lurcher with one in and it became a looser fit and wore the frame. A combination of the rubber insert seals they use and my mates mechanical ham fistedness.

Re: 92mm pressfit to BS threaded
As well as being aware of the wear to the bearing cups on Token BB's. Be aware that the likes of the CK and Hope BB92's don't always fit as the shell internal dimensions are not all the same, even on the same manufacturers frames. There are machined steps in some that will not allow the bearing cup to be pressed all the way home, Hope one's are particularly long so worth checking your frame to see how much room you have.
