Got an email from Nick Smith at Alpkit. Can't copy it and the images to here on my phone but there's an issue of the stove fouling certain canisters.
Not a recall, more a caution notice.
Thought a couple of folks on here bought them so just sharing info. If you want more details shout and I can forward the email or get in touch with AK direct.

The info:
If you receiving this email you have bought a Kraku stove from us , if this has been bought for someone else, please ensure you pass this information on to them.
Safety Notice - Kraku Stove
We have have been notified of an incidence where the brass threaded element of the Krakus has become detached from the main body of the stove. As a precaution we are asking all owners to visual inspect the stove, and pay particular attention to the canister type you are using. You can continue to use the stove with care, however when the stove is fully attached the stove should come very close to the lip of the canister but should not touch or exert any force that would cause the stove to malfunction, as a rough guide you should be able slide a piece of paper between the canister and the stove body.
If there are instances of not being able to slide a piece of paper between canister and stove we would be grateful if you could let us know which canister you are using.
If you have any questions please call us on 01773 417007 or email
support@alpkit.com and we will be able to help with any queries.
We let you know if there are any further developments as soon as possible.

In fairness, I had to do mine up pretty tight to get the valve to engage on one of my canisters...could see how someone would do it.
