Which sewing machine would be ok for having a go at some MYOG please ?

I got a Singer from Lidl. I know nowt about sewing machines but it seems to do a good job and appears well made.

Yep, most will do, if they aren't super flimsy. Worst case, you have to get some new/different needles. :)
