Winter bivvy - can we have a show of hands?

If you're planning on coming next weekend (Wales only) can you say here please ... I know it seems a bit formal and proper but I'd hate to set off without someone if they're running late, etc. It'll also be handy to know, so I can find a large enough overnight spot to accommodate the crowds ;)

I would give you my mobile number in case this ^ happens but it'd be really pointless :?

I'll start - Me but not Matt.

Hefty seas in the last week have buggered operations on the job I'm on... I'll be lucky to get home for Christmas at this rate
With the greatest regret I'll have to declare myself out :(

Just back from a little recon' ride. Weather was glorious by the coast but turned a little grey the higher you got. Took this pic just before entering the cloud, to get here you'll have just come over the hills in the background and into the bottom of the valley before making your way up the otherside ... Bird Rock* is the nearest hill in the background if anyone cares.

Amazing fact number 1: *Not that long ago Bird Rock was a sea cliff

No Mark ... it's as Flatfishy says. Noon in Pennal, it's not a big place ;)

Anyone got a postcode for where we are meeting?

Although after starting the BB200 ten mins late due to sat nav issues maybe the map ref. is a better bet. :P

Pub postcode is SY20 9DW. It's right in the middle of the village.

Are we allowed to park at in the pub car park, or is there anywhere specific we should be aiming at?

No idea about the pub, sorry. I'd turn off the main road (right) in the village and find a spot on one of the smaller back roads.

I suppose outside the pub will make a good 'meeting up spot' though.

Sorry all - I'm bailing out on this - too many niggly things to sort out at home mean I can't make it - at least I've bought my Exped mat though!
Have a good one!

If we're leaving about noonish (give or take faff time) I presume everyone will be taking lights?

Sorry for loads of daft questions but we normally only "night bivi"
Cheers

Worth carrying some ... we might not need them but we might.
