Sounds like it's a way off getting to our tarps but interesting ( :ugeek: ) nevertheless.

Might be restricted to tarps though - clothes wise we really need them to breath - :geek:

From reading it sounds like this is a physical treatment / alteration to the material, something that would improve the DWR of stuff. As wetting out seems to be a big problem stopping breathable fabrics working it sounds like this could be an improvement.

I'm no :ugeek: though so just wondering ;)

If it's uni-directional and hard wearing, this will be good - but that's what they've got to work out I guess. I might see if I can get hold of some academic papers :ugeek: I don't really know much about materials technology and wish I did, it's difficult to read through all the marketing bumf by gore-tex and others :|
