Budget Flattie Footwear

Post by Ray Young »

Hi Tec Rally for £30 which I discovered in my local Brantano shoe shop.

Not cycling specific but a flexible toe for walking with the rest of the sole stiff enough for cycling and a fake leather upper to keep out moisture. The best bit though is the sole. Most cheap shoes of this type have a hard plasticy type rubber but not these. A pliant soft rubber that sticks to the pedals very well indeed. At this price i'm impressed and I am even considering buying a second pair.

Out for a three hour ride tonight and I'm still happy with this purchase. Also liking my solar storm light.
