Looking for a frame bag for my CX.
I still want to use the bottle cages, so i've been looking for something like a Revelate Tangle, but dont want to splash that much cash on it. Any suggestions?

I've got one of those Deuter bags, it's not particularly big, if you want something a bit bigger Rose Bikes in Germany sell an Extreme branded one which is about twice the volume and the same price as the Deuter, you need to watch the zip though, just returned the one I bought in the Summer but friends have had no issues.

I have one of those Deuter Front Triangle bags as well. They aren't great quality but they are cheap and do the job.

A Tangle was the first bike bag I bought and well worth the cash. Wouldn't rely on cages still working with one. Mebe ask Pavel, Wildcat or Alpkit if you can't stretch to a Revelation one?

Our Ocelot partial frame bags should be available soon.
Bottle cage compatibility is something we tried to address.
Other specs include hose port, map pocket and #8 size zip for longevity.
Available in four sizes.
Watch this space :)

Interesting. You can't have too many bags and I always think this style is more versatile between various fames than a full bag*.
Please consider this email the usual clamour for pic's, prices and more details
* never owned one, serial bike swapper, pure assumption on my part.

This is one of the Rose Extreme (Xtreme?) bags in Luxembourg last year. Not had any zip problems and a little bonus is that it has zip access both sides. It has my TN Laser in it.

Pics will be out very soon. There might even be one or two Ocelots floating about at the BB200.
Final price to follow, but most likely under that of the competition.

I'm gonna eventually get a custom wildcat frame bag made for the cotic...but I still haven't got everything to build it together yet

This 'Bushwhacker' bag from Ebay has done OK so far, cheap but dunno if it'll last long.

I tried my small tangle in my pretty small road bike at the weekend and discovered that I could still use the cages but only for 2x500ml bottles. This has got me thinking about a very lightweight road tour next year if the sleeping bag will fit on the bars between all the cables.
