20K Ultratrail - premium alpine gravel(?)

This year I took up my second ultra. This time with more than 2 weeks of training and about 6 months of agonising, prepping, wondering if it was going to be more than I could chew (spoiler alert: it was).
I gave another go at writing how it went. Mainly because I'll eventually put together a video recap from it, which is super time consuming and I didn't want to forget some of the details and how I felt during the event.

I have next to zero experience of ultracycling races but the camaraderie experienced on this one was amazing. People waiting for others at the finish. For days. Strangers becoming friends. It's what I expected to find at another ultra, but had a very different experience. It's what I wish every Tor Divide rider experiences...even if it's just me waiting for them haha
