It is clearly a scam but someone will no doubt fall for it.

Sorry that you've had poor experience with Alpkit Shaf, but it's a good company, with decent aims and ethics.
Those scam sites are common - I've seen RAB and North Face versions.

Perhaps there's a typo in the OP's link, but hopefully the fact it doesn't go anywhere means it's been taken down.
