I got a SPOT a while ago, mainly to check in with those at home when out and about.

I paid for tracking etc. but I'd like to be able to create gpx files. Does anyone know if/how this can be done? The spot website isn't that helpful...

Correct but it's quite useless as the Spot tracker only sends a signal every 20 minutes or so which gives massive gaps between points compared to something like a Garmin which logs your position every few (10?) seconds.
