A few years ago the little lead that stops you loosing the cover broke. I tried contacting garmin then with no luck. Just tried contacting support again

I have now lost the little cover.

Will it be game over next time it rains and so do I need to go gps shopping!?

£25 is very salty for that little piece of plastic+rubber, but I suppose it’s cheaper than a water damaged unit..
Sometimes they have units/parts cheap for spare or repair on eBay..

That's the code but in anithe language. Apparently you call em on 0808 238 0000 and they send you a secret link to pay for that item number. Hope you get sorted.
