WTD:- Lightweight Compactible Sleeping Bag

Post by Zoglug »

Hey everyone,

Moved house earlier this year and during the process, i just so happened to tip all my camping gear  (its the reason i couldnt attend the WRT!) Now things are sorted in the house, im looking to rebuild the collection so i can get back out on the bike and enjoy the countryside. Im looking to replace my sleeping bag first. I previously had an alpkit skyehigh 600 which i loved, but in true Alpkit fashion, they have none in stock with no indication of when they will be replaced. Im looking to pick up something similar in terms of size, weight, comfort rating etc and have a budget of around £80.

Also on the lookout for a camping mat. Something along the lines of the Alpkit Airo 180.

If anyone has anything lying around unused they are thinking of offloading then let me know and we'll see if we can sort something out.

Cheers

Zog

Aw man. I would be gutted if I'd done that. Unfortunately I don't have any spare mats or sleeping bags. Good luck replacing it.

I've still got my Mountain Hardwear Spirit SL for sale. It's a little above budget but it's pretty much new, a very good spec' and WATERPROOF ... which saves you having to buy a bivvy bag ;)

I'll do it for £120 delivered if you're interested.

Very interested! What sort of weight and size can it pack down to?

It's a shade under a kilo with compression sack (960g I think). Pack size around 8l but could be compressed more if you use the supplied compression sack.
