Where do people go for there bearings? I normally type the bearing code into eBay and pick from there for a decent price, but turns out that this time, they're quite pricey :?

I'm after some 6910-2RS to sort out my shakey rear end (active brake pivot bearings on my trek fuel ex). I wouldn't mind some SKF bearings, but at £90 for 2, it's not worth it

Try Kasae. He is Airborne10101 on eBay.A bit of a character but highly recommended.

I don't want cheapness, I want reasonable price-ness. I can't warrant spending more on bearings on my bicycle than the cost of wheel bearings for my car

Kaesae / Katec's bearings are very good. Outlast stock Hopes many times and seem to be the most durable ones I've used (Chilterns winter SS and loaded BP use on same wheels).

Well, I think £8 each falls into that catergory too ... certainly much more reasonable than £45

So I've bought a full kit for my trek for a smidge more than it seems for buying just the specific 2 bearings I was after - 2 x recommendations on here swung it for me. Can't hurt to have spares, especially as the ones in the evo link are potentially the worlds cheapest bearings ever as I had to replace them when I had very little money
