Anyone got any recommendations for lightweight and breathable baggies, now the sun's out...?

Got some light hiking ones I use from Decathlon. Little bit of stretch, very fast drying and breathable. Got them because I got bored of heavy and too baggy mtb specific ones. Mine are a little bit on the short side but still fine, and just seen they do long versions:

Ràpha MTB Trail ones are good. Wore them for Grinduro so not too baggy for doing a lot of pedalling in. The adjusters work well and the pockets are sensible.

Just bought some Crikey, how much trail shorts, slim fitting, bit of stretch, slightly higher back than normal walking shorts and the leg pockets are spot on. Got mine in the sale but have been pleased with them

Quite like the Endura gravel ones I got.
Not too flappy, very light material (so quick drying).
Nice to wear for hill walking or just as "shorts"

Bet you ride a Salsa gravel bike to go with your Raphà kit

I got some 7 mesh ones half price in sportpursuit.
They're really nice, but I wouldn't pay full price for them.

Recently replaced a very old pair of, I think, Fox something, with a pair of Alpkit Floe shorts – which are much lighter than I was expecting m. I’ve been impressed so far, but then the bar was low.

I like the Humvee but the padded inners that came with them are a size smaller than the Humvees

Secret with the Humvees is that you get em on offer. Then sell the inner chamoise on ebay as a new pad. Effectively end up paying very little for the shorts. What I did

Enduras +1 but they are a wee bit on the hefty side for a roaster. Madison trail shorts are what I use for those days - lighter and baggier so draftier. I use the 3/4 ones to hide my knobbly knees.

I haven't seen them for sale very often but if you get a pair Alpinestars Bunnyhop shorts are nice. They're very light and quick drying but still quite "MTB" in appearance. The pockets on the legs double as vents and are quite effective making them great for warm weather. If I ever see another pair in my size I'll definitely be buying them but as I mentioned they are elusive.

I don't know if they still exist, but at this time of year I borderline live in 1 of my 3 pairs of Humvee Lites. They're made of almost nothing, white and dry faster than anything else, if I find more I'll buy more - 100% recommend.

My fat ass fits in XXL, in endura I'm XL

The model being sold is two zipped hand pockets, different to the older model

Probably better as more minimalist

I've got two pairs of these
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wespornow-Moun ... _rp_0_12_t

Really lightweight and stretchy and will fit you. I wear them as every day shorts as well as riding in them, usually just with boxers, sometimes with a padded short, but there's no clips for padded shorts.

£28 is a bargain for these imo. They're a great material, I've had pairs for >4 years now. Light, durable, fast drying, good slim fit. Prefer the fit to Ralphas I had, they were a bit too short in the leg. If it wasn't for the fact they're blue now rather than grey I'd stock up

Edit - just saw small only.. med fits a 32 waist for ref.

Still find wearing lycra is much more comfy, have some Endura baggies but seem to go just over the knee which can be annoying after a bit may have to hack a few inches off the bottom and there heavy ish
