I set off on Friday afternoon on what was to be a solo, unsupported trip of Wainwright's Coast to Coast. I covered 30+ miles and pitched. I woke up on the Saturday and struggled. Nevertheless, I took a detour and decided to do my own version of the C2C instead, and ended up covering 144 miles on the Saturday.

An impressive ride the second day, that's a lot of miles with a loaded bike. Seems you met some nice people along the way, guess they helped to motivate you on your way :)
