Best way to mount Airlok Xtra / Map to Bike

I'm looking to get two answers from the fountain of bikepacking knowledge:
1. What is the best (most stable + easy to attach + access) way to mount an Airlok Xtra drybag under the saddle?
2. What's the best way to mount a map to the bike?
Please let me know if there is any additional bits and pieces I should consider buying to achieve the best ways too...
Many thanks again

2. Here's something I knocked up for the WRT a couple of years ago. Ortlieb map case, small piece of cordura and short length of velcro. Sew velcro to either side of the cordura and insert into the velcro opening of the map case. Make hole in cordura, remove stem cap and bolt from bike, and reinsert with cordura between stem cap and stem. Clip other end of the map case to your bar harness. Waterproof, lightweight, easily removable (cordura stays in place on bike) etc.

1. there are folk on here that favour the Wildcat Tiger for holding gear behind the saddle. There might be other options available, but I've not tried them

You can bodge those dry bags on with Velcro straps.
But - whilst it is true to say I'm significantly less biaised than other Ian may be - those Wildcat Tigers do a great job...

I'll be getting me a Wildcat Tiger soon. Having looked at them and read the reviews, they seem to be just the job!
For this weekend though, luggage straps and Velcro will suffice.

Just had a look at the wildcat harness - £55 seems absolutely extortionate for what it is. I've never had any issues with just an airlok xtra mounted direct.

I don't think the price is too bad considering it's hand made by a very small company and that includes delivery and a very fast lead time. I have one and whilst it's not revolutionary compared to using an airlok with straps, it does make life slightly easier and stops the drybag rubbing on the bars/headtube. Seems to be more stable too.
I was lucky enough to get mine 2nd hand for £20 ish though!
